Building a digital experience is not just about layering flashy interactions. Through extensive user research, we found that digital interactions often act like a dopamine boost for users; however, interaction is only a supporting language. We must design from the user’s deeper emotional perspective to create a multi-sensory experience.
The website is no longer merely a vessel for information but a medium that inspires users to explore and engage actively. We’ve moved away from ornate layouts, focusing instead on delivering only the information users need. Every interaction reflects thoughtful care and warmth, bringing users closer to the product and allowing them to enjoy an immersive, engaging experience.
In 2015, under the core message ‘因爱伟大(Greatness Out of Love),’ FOTILE aimed to create a platform for communication and connection that would stand apart from traditional, impersonal websites while also activating digital touchpoints to inspire user purchases. As a leader in premium kitchen appliances, FOTILE has long embodied the brand belief ‘Greatness Out of Love,’ imbuing everyday happiness with a unique human touch. The challenge was how to convey this human warmth through digital interaction on the official website.
Focusing on user experience, product experience, and brand experience, we integrated lifestyle considerations into the design process, creating a more emotional and human-centered digital sensory experience—multi-sensory design that enhances perceptual impact. Using cinematic fluidity and texture, we redefined the digital presentation of kitchen appliances.
Over a nine-month strategic execution, grounded in consumer insights from big data, we crafted a fresh, vibrant, and warm identity for the website. Through three levels—Inspire, Touch, and Connect—we built a platform for engaging users, incorporating innovative interactions to create a distinctive digital experience.
