OUR THINKING

KUKA’s transformation toward scenario-based design allows users to envision a home with greater imaginative potential in multidimensional spaces. Taking the top-down perspective of a home and living room, we infused the 40th-anniversary graphics with a deeper connection to the concept of “home.”

Starting from KUKA’s origins in upholstered furniture, we conveyed a sense of softness and warmth, reflected in the dynamic shapes of living room furniture as seen from above. This evokes an intuitive feeling of a “home to aspire to.”

The custom typography derived from the “40” graphic was incorporated into the special promotional campaign for the 40th anniversary in 2022, adding a more playful and engaging expression to the celebration.

Inspired by KUKA’s 40th anniversary, we designed the KUKA Space Series IP, embodying the brand’s spirit of bold exploration and commitment to innovation. In this concept, “Gugu” becomes the symbol of the brand, carrying boundless curiosity and a desire to explore as it embarks on a journey into the future.
